We are looking to recruit an experienced qualified vehicle technician / MOT Tester to work in our busy Leyland Car Dealership.
This is a varied role which typically includes servicing and repairing of customers vehicles, preparing various types of vehicles for sale to our high standards, fault diagnosis and the rectifying of faults found, MOT Testing, Tyre fitting and balancing, general repairs, carrying out test drives to diagnose faults, recording of all faults & findings .
You must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge and skills enabling efficient, economic and safe servicing and repair of vehicles, whilst working to deadlines and targets.
For the right candidate, it represents an exciting new opportunity and you will become a valued member of our busy dealership Team.
THE CRITERIA:
• You Must have experience in vehicle mechanics, servicing and repairs
• The ideal candidate will be level 3 qualified (or equivalent)
• Have a full UK driving licence
• Be a current MOT Tester
• Have excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be a team player with a strong customer focus
• Have a strong fault finding and problem-solving skills
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Have high attention to detail
• Have the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Good basic salary, plus Profit Share scheme, Pension scheme, and Employee discounts and Benifits
