Ive had two cars from Arnold Clark and both were back within 24 hrs, i even contacted BBC watchdog, i swore i would never go back there... So i wanted to look for a third elsewhere. I knew what car i wanted and after a search i found one at Golden Hill Garage, i thought with them being a smaller business and as its up the road from Bamber Bridge I'd go take a look. I'm glad i did, i read the good reviews on here and agree no one likes all the jargon you get with some salesmen but Mr Johnson was great in the way he dealt with me and my dad, gave us the freedom to take a good look at the car, there was a slight problem with one of the rear lights so he promised the mechanics would sort it and they did, unlike other mechanics. Overall everything went through pretty fast and smooth, picked the car up on the day he said following a service & Mot which now i don't have to think about for another year. I can't fault my experience so i have to give a good review. Thanks Dave! Matt.
Great garage, I have been going to Golden Hill Garage for the last 10 years for MOT, repairs and a new car. Very competent garage with reasonable prices, staff are always friendly and very helpful and if they can help you they will.

The whole experience from start to finish was great, no pushy stiles men, just a gold star sevive and good old fashioned manners, all of which mean a lot in customer care. Les the sales man went out of his way to make sure that the car was ready to collect at the stated time and day.
Friendly and efficient customer service from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble. No big sales man talk, kept it honest and straight forward but still very knowledgeable. I had been looking for a car for sometime, this garage has a fabulous range at very reasonable prices and they were the only one that didn't put the price up when we showed an interest at first.
No pushy salesmen here. We knew what we wanted, and from the outset they made it clear that they were there to help and advise. We made a choice but decided to sleep on it. Again no pressure, and we were back the following day to confirm the sale. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience. Thanks to all.
Compared to the atrocious experience I had a month ago at a large main deale not far away, this was chalk and cheese. No sharp-witted dodgy 'geezers' here, just a lovely bunch of nice, knowledgeable and helpful guys, selling a decent range of good quality cars. No pressure selling and everything they told me about the deal and the car before I arrived turned out to be spot on, so my journey (1100 miles as it happens; don't ask) was, for once, not wasted. After two failed attempts elsewhere I got the car I wanted in the condition I wanted and at the right price, and the whole process was painless and hassle-free. Can't recommend these guys highly enough; they are a credit to the motor trade - not an easy thing to say these days.

Brilliant experience with Golden hill, Jonathan picked up my original enquiry about delivery via email. I’m based 5 hours away from the garage but seen the car online, Jonathan gave me all the information I needed as well as pictures and videos of the vehicle. I didn’t feel any pressure he was just genuinely helpful. I paid deposit over the phone that day and arranged delivery which was a week later, before delivery he still kept in contact telling me how the car had done in its 60 point check which was really reassuring. Very happy customer and would definitely recommend Golden Hill Garage.
